For over seventy years, Chicago’s architectural photography pioneer, Hedrich Blessing has been the one company to call when a building is ready to face the public. To this day their artists’ understanding of the language of architecture is unrivaled.

No single firm has had such an impact or produced such iconic images as Hedrich Blessing. Their indelible portrait of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most famous residence inspired the name Fallingwater.

Recently Hedrich Blessing donated its vast archives to the Chicago Historical Society, which mounted a landmark exhibition throughout 2001. Its original proofs and custom limited edition portfolios of its finest works, however, have been turned over to ArchiTech as the sole gallery chosen to represent the legendary firm.

Hedrich Blessing: Painting With Light, is an exclusive commercial presentation of these original proof prints that include Art Deco structures from Chicago’s 1933 World’s Fair, Loop skyscrapers and buildings by Mies van der Rohe and Frank Lloyd Wright.

Also available for purchase, large exhibition prints from limited edition portfolios, Chicago Design in the 1930s and Forty Years of Design mark the last time Hedrich Blessing produced their own work for art collectors. Hedrich Blessing: Painting With Light opens Friday, January 4th, and continues through Saturday, March 16th, 2002.
